Merkle Trade aspires to become the largest decentralized hub for leveraged trading by developing the most inclusive and entertaining platform for traders of all experience levels. A crucial milestone in this mission is our token launch, which is designed to establish a healthy value accrual mechanism that effectively reflects the network effect of the protocol. To achieve this, we have devised a unique token launch sequence that promotes organic price discovery, deep liquidity, and maximum transparency in circulating supply.

The gist of the sequence is dividing the two most important aspects of TGE: token utility and price discovery. By providing multiple options with different trade-offs, we intend to cater to a diverse spectrum of users, including long-term holders seeking passive income, MKL enthusiasts aiming to maximize holdings, and participants interested in realizing immediate profits.

For this objective, the Token Generation Event will be composed of two phases:
